Trajal Harrell is one of the most known American dancers and choreographers whose works were presented at several festivals Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Rio De Janeiro, Montreal, and the Netherlands. His performances were also shown at such famous cultural institutions as Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Museum of Modern Art or Art Basel. He also received several awards such as the Bessie Award, the Guggenheim Fellowship and the Creative Capital Award.
